At 582 feet, the Gulf Tower is one of the major recognizable features of the Pittsburgh cityscape. Built as the headquarters for the Gulf Oil Company in 1932, this magnificent Art Deco building features 44 floors clad in Indiana limestone and New England granite. The Gulf Tower was also the first known building nest site for the endangered Peregrine Falcons in Pennsylvania.

In the tower, the typical office floor has five elevators, two fire stairs, two restrooms and a separate large freight elevator to the loading dock. Windows are thermally insulated with embedded blinds. The Gulf Tower offers a fully equipped fitness center and locker rooms, shuttle service and bike storage for tenants.
Tenants of Koppers and Gulf Tower can also enjoy the free shuttle service available in the central business district from 7am to 3pm. Please call 412-227-2929 and schedule in advance as the shuttle can only hold 7 passengers at once.
